The Tybee Island lighthouse in Georgia marks a swampy delta where the Savannah, Wilmington and Bull rivers emerge at the Atlantic. It's a short drive from Savannah, and close to the Georgia/South Carolina  state line.

My friends Susan and Ken from the Runner's Retreat running club here in Winchester Virginia recently moved to Savannah and wanted to commission a painting from a photo they took of the Tybee Island Lighthouse. I was quite thrilled to do this painting and got right to it! I'm happy to say it now resides in their home in Savannah!
